Product FAQs
Can the product freeze?
Yes, but for ease of application and product longevity, we recommend storing the tape in a cool and dry place.
What is the temperature range?
This is not applicable to Petrolatum Tapes as they are cold applied tapes. However, you would want to avoid applying the tapes above their maximum service temperatures.
Do I need to use Paste?
Yes. Paste is a critical part of the corrosion prevention system. It displaces moisture on the surface to be coated and pacifies the steel.
What kind of Paste do I use with the different kinds of Denso Tape?
Denso Paste is to be sued with the Denso LT and Densyl Tape systems. Denso Paste S105 is very effective under water or on very wet metal surfaces. Denso Paste HT should be used with Denso Hotline Tape.
